Pitkin (2002) included Ischnopterix Hübner, [1825] 1816; Ischnopteryx Agassiz, 1847; Trichostichia Warren, 1895; Amblurodes Warren, 1900; and Anischnopteris Rindge, 1983 as junior synonyms of Ischnopteris Hübner, [1823] 1806.
