Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:-

Hampson cited as type-species Asopia filalis Guenée, 1854, a nominal species not originally included in Isocentris. At the same time, however, Hampson placed filalis as a senior synonym of rhodophilalis, a species originally included in Isocentris. Under the Code, Article 69(a)(iv) this designation constitutes the fixation of the originally included nominal species as the type-species.
