Notes:
Irigilla was treated in the Pyralidae, Pyraustinae in Fletcher and Nye 1984, 5 : 76. Irigilla Swinhoe, 1900 was referred to the Odontiinae from the Spilomelinae within the Pyralidae by Maes, 1994, Bulletin et Annales de la Societe Royale Belge D'Entomologie 130 (7-9) : 165. However the Spilomelinae is cited as a synonym of the Pyralidae, Pyraustinae in the Checklist of the Lepidoptera of Australia, Nielsen, Edwards and Rangsi, 1996, so Irigilla remains in the Pyraustinae.

Shaffer (pers. comm.) treats IRIGILLA in the CRAMBIDAE: ODONTIINAE.
