Notes:
Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:-

A junior homonym of Hofmannia Wocke, [1876] 1877, in Heinemann, Schmett. Dtl. Schweitz (2) 2 (2): 614, - Lepid., Yponomeutidae. There is no objective replacement name but H. septemdactyla is currently considered to be congeneric with Triscaedecia dactyloptera Hampson, 1905, the type-species of Triscaedecia Hampson, 1905; the latter is thus available for use as a subjective replacement name.

Hofmannia Wocke & Heineman, [1876] 1877 was brought out of synonymy and downgraded to denote a subgenus of Kessleria Nowicki, 1864 by Huemer & Tarmann, 1991, Mitteilungen Muenchener Entomologischen Gesellschaft 81 : 11.
