Notes:
Nye (1975) stated:-

L. mira is a junior subjective synonym of Mamestra zelleri Christoph, 1876, Horae Soc. ent. ross. 12: 250, pl. 6, fig. 24. Heterographa was proposed as a subgenusof Luperina Boisduval, 1828.

Poole (1989) included HETEROGRAPHA in the subfamily AMPHIPYRINAE, subsequently restricted to the genus AMPHIPYRA by Kitching & Rawlins(1999) in Kristensen. Other genera formerly treated in the subfamily AMPHIPYRINAE are treated as HADENINAE by Kitching & Rawlins (1999).

Poole (1989) included 5 species in the genus HETEROGRAPHA.
