Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:-

Heterocrita and H. chersodes were both attributed to Meyrick by Turner. A junior homonym of Heterocrita Warren, 1901, Novit. zool. 8: 445, - Lepid., Geometridae. The objective replacement name is Osidryas, Meyrick, 1916.
