Notes:
Cowan (1970: 36) stated:-

HELICONIA Latreille, 1818, Nouv. Dict. Hist. nat. appl. Arts 24 : 509. An Unjustified Emendation of Heliconius Kluk, 1802 or Latreille, 1804. Latreille here stated categorically that he changed the name because most of the included species bore the names of Muses.
