2. Phalaena viridaria Fabricius, 1775, a name not originally included in Amoebe and not linked with one of the originally included names when designated by Hulst, 1896, Trans. Am. ent. Soc. 23: 292.

Parsons et al. (1999) included AMOEBE Hübner, 1825; CALLISTIGIA Agassiz, 1847; ERINOBIA Stephens, 1850; EUPERIZOMA Warren, 1900; and PSEUDOBAPTRIA Inoue, 1982 as junior synonyms of COLOSTYGIA Hübner, 1825.
