Notes:
Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:-

Glyptocera was first published without any indication that it was a new generic name. It was later published as a new genus, with diagnosis and type-species designation by Ragonot, 1890 Annls Soc. ent Fr. (6) 10 (Bull.): vii.

In the original combination of the type-species the generic name was published as * Nephopteryx, an incorrect subsequent spelling.
