Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:-

Glaucocharis was established in the Pyraustidae, now Pyralidae Pyraustinae; it was placed in the Scopariinae by Hudson, 1939, Suppl. Butterflies Moth N.Z.: 427; on the advice of our colleague, Mr M. Shaffer, it is here transferred to the Crambinae.

GLAUCOCHARIS was included within the subfamily CRAMBIDAE: CRAMBINAE by Munroe & Solis, in Kristensen (1999).
