Notes:
Fletcher (1979) stated:-

Prout, 1918, ibidem 25: 77, 78, has shown that Warren's diagnosis of Euthysana was based on specimens misidentified as Symmacra inconspicua Warren, 1899, these Prout described and named Dithecodes phaenomeris.

See Frontispiece 2, fig.10, Dithecodes phaenomeris Prout, syntype male.

Prout repeated the correction of Warren's misidentification in 1934, in Strand, Lepid. Cat. 61: 26.

Under Article 70(a) of the Code, the case of a misidentified type-species should be referred to the Commission.

Parsons et al. (1999) included EUTHYSANA Warren, 1907; MNESITHETIS Swinhoe, 1900; NEOSTERRHA Warren, 1900; and PSEUDACIDALIA Sterneck, 1927 as junior synonymys of DITHECODES Warren, 1900.
