Fletcher & Nye (1982) stated:-

Eucraera was established as the objective replacement name for Ceratopacha Aurivillius, 1909.

The type-species was proposed as Lasiocampa * K├Âllikerii, an incorrect original spelling of the specific name under Article 32(c)(i) of the Code.

The type-species designation by Aurivillius was published as * Laciocampa k├Âllikeri, incorrect subsequent spellings of both generic and specific names.
