I am having difficulty identifying these striking caterpillars. They are notable for their 3 sets of black 'antennae'.
They are feeding on African Milkweed and are in my garden in Kefalonia, Greece.
Can anyone help?
I think they are the caterpillars of a Plain Tiger butterfly ( danaus chrysippus )
Thanks TORCROSS, now that I have checked images online, you are absolutely correct. Looks like a nice butterfly as well, so I will have to look out for them on the wing next year.
