This egg came from a nest in the sandstone cliffs at Shanklin on the Isle of White. This was just one of around a dozen in the same place - we left the rest for others to find. Can you help us identify it please?

The rest of out finds are on our facebook page any help identifying them would be much appreciated, thank you!

I'm afraid this one also looks to be a lump of Chert, although the honey-comb section in the middle is quite likely the remains of a sponge.
