She's a Steatoda...I'm tempted to say S. nobilis, but I can't be sure from the photos...they usually have a pale "shield" shaped marking on the abdomen, but sometimes these fade to barely visible. It could be a S. grossa, but I can't be sure how much the PC screen I am looking at is distorting the original image?

Either way, don't worry yourself unduly. Yes, they are capable of inflicting an unpleasant bite, but they don't go looking for trouble. Bites often only occur as a last resort against being crushed to death.

If it is S. nobilis (compare to other photos on the web), you might choose to relocate it, especially if young children play around that area...they are happy enough on external walls & window frames & tend to stick close to their web. They are pretty docile, even timid, in reality.
