Prey item of Misumena vatia

I took a couple of photographs on the 4th August 2012 at Hainault Forest, Essex. UK

It shows a white crab spider Misumena vatia with a fly on Yarrow or Milfoil.

Can anyone please identify the unfortunate fly.

Thankyou.

Yes, nice photos - a male Phasia hemiptera, a very distinctive fly whose larvae are bug parasitoids   I run the UK recording scheme - do you have a map reference for the locality so that we can add it to the recording scheme database?
