What is this spider?

Hi everyone!

This one is been found in my friend's room. It's arond 15mm long excluding legs. She was scared so I removed he (the spider;) ) from the room and made some pictures.

Could some one identify her for me please? Is it dangerous? I am not scared of spiders but didn't touch this one with my bare hands, just in case.:)

Here is the link to gallery:

And some pictures:

Is this USB mark at the back meening that I can connect it to my laptop?

Kind regards to all on the forum!

    Hi Piotr,

It's a steatoda nobilis, commonly known as a false widow. They can bite (and it certainly may not be a pleasant experience...but then what bites are?), but generally only tend to do as a last resort against being crushed to death when trapped in clothing & the like. A bite may leave the victim feeling mildly unwell for a short time but they are not dangerous. Females tend to be quite docile & mainly hang around their webs.
