Is this a large parasitic wasp

Last year when digging the garden I disturbed a brown pupa which I kept,  thinking it a moth or beetle. Unfortunatly I left the lid of the jar one day and found the pupa hatched the next day and this sitting on the rim of the jar, so I cant be 100% certain it came from the pupa. this was on 6th june in somerset.
