This spider just crawled up the wall beside me - the nearest thing I can find to it is a woodlouse eating spider? Can anyone tell me if that is correct. I guess it was approx 1.5cm long, maybe a bit more.
I think you are right. It is a Dysdera, and if it's the large one it should be D. crocata. D. erythrina is usually smaller, and it lacks the 1-3 spines on the hind femora that D. crocata has.
