Was wondering if anyone could help identify this please, have trawled the net but to no avail! In the light it was completely gold, however the shot i got just shows its rear as being gold.
You must have a great camera but please resize your picture is far too big and it took 2 minutes to load distorted
my apologies, i noticed it to, i think if you 'right click' the picture and 'open in new tab' it appears as it should.
in the meantime i'll try and resize it
This is one of the Chrysolina spp. (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae - aka Leaf beetles) - tricky to confirm from this image but Chrysolina banksi would be worth a punt.
