Bone found on a hike

About 6 months ago me and my dad were at a country park i believe and i found this interesting bone in the woods, i pocketed it out of interest and it has spent the past 6 months in my garden shed


Any ideas to what animal it may have belonged to? I found it in the west midlands if that matters

    It's a bird humerus (arm bone), and it looks like a Mallard one. Any idea of the size?

    Have a look at the drawing of a mallard right humerus below and at the photo here (the second from the left in the picture).
