Centipede identification

Hi all,

Me and my wife moved in to a new flat in June this year. Not too long after we started seeing this centipede in various locations around the flat. They appear about once or twice a month and they tend to sit quite high up on the wall, always on their own and the don't move much, so it's hard to tell where they come from or where they go. It's almost like when we're out one just runs out from their hiding and sits there waiting for me to come home and get rid of it. The frequency of them appearing hasn't increased nor decreased.

Anyway, we'd like to know what it is. Haven't managed to find anything looking like it on the internet.

Think one would measure about 3cm if it was straight, but normally, unlike the picture I attached, they are curled up in a spiral shape.

Any ideas would be welcomed!

Many thanks

Lars
