Green worm?

I photographed this strange looking worm whilst on holiday in Slovenia (Lake Bled area).  It was about the same size as an average earthworm and moved in the same way but it lacks the "saddle" that our earthworms have.  And it is very green.  Can anyone id this for me please?

That's a great picture, never seen a bright green earthworm.

I googled pictures for "earthworms, Slovenia"  and found this:

The picture looks exactly like yours, except it has a saddle.  Someone said it might be Allolobophora smaragdina - never heard of it!

Maybe the worm you saw was a young one, or not breeding at the time if it didn't have a saddle.  I can't remember if mature worms always have a saddle, perhaps it depends on the species.

...Just loked up "Allolobophora smaragdina" and found a cool video, though the commentry is in another language (Slovenian? German?).  It certainly looks like the one you had.
