Can anyone identify this beetle

This beetle was in my garden,I think it might be a leaf beetle but I can't get any nearer. It looked like it was taking nectar from these plants. Thank-you

    That looks like Oedemera lurida.  It could also be a nobilis or virescens female but lurida is the more common.  (The males of these have enlarged femora).  It's quite common for these to be misidentified as musk beetles which look superficially similar but are much larger -  was this one about 10 mm long?
