Beetle identification

Does anyone know what this beetle is please? My daughter keeps getting them in her bedroom on a night and it’s freaking her out :( we have no idea where they are coming from or what they are but she finds them walking up her curatins or crawling across her bed

It's a Tenebrionidae beetle, and probably the Tenebrio molitor species.  They are completely harmless but are strongly attracted to light and will fly into lit rooms at night, as you can read on this link.

Just a hot summer problem with not much we can do about it if windows need to be opened after dark.
