Partial fossil identification

Hi

Is anyone able to identify the partial fossil?

It was found between Charmouth and Lyme Regis.

It is a £2 coin for size reference.

Hi Jj - welcome to NaturePlus

This is part of the interior cast of the body chamber of a Early Jurassic ammonite

Hard to assign a species on such a partial specimen but possibly genus Aegoceras?

The palaeontologist at Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre would able to help you.
