What next for our forests?

There's been such a lot of debate about how we should manage our foresta (and a lot about what they're worth!). Now that plans have gone back to the drawing board, what do other people think might be best - should they be run by charities? Is the state best?

I'm not sure I know the answer - but I think that's the point. It's good that we now have more time to consider the options.

I think that if we continue to misuse our forest they will come to an end. Climate change is already effecting the ice bergs and climate change is a man made phenomenom and so is the misuse of forests. Many wonderful animals live in forests such as the Orangutan whose numbers are beginning to fall. So are the numbers of other forest animals who are found without a home. Also less oxygen will be found due to the small amount of trees that release oxygen. As well as this man would find it harder to get hold of paper and other wooden objects we take for granted.
