Bumble Bee ID please

Can someone help me identify this Bumble bee.  I have tried to sort it out using the keys but none seem to be quite right.  The speciesI am inclined to is B. ruderarius

Your help would be much appreciated.

Not B. ruderarius, which is has duller colouring. The id feature of red hairs on the hind tibia (often quoted from keys) only applies to female ruderarius. I'm inclined to say a male B. monticola because of the extensive red tail and lack of yellow band on the 1st segment of the abdomen (though there are some sparce yellow hairs showing). If it's not B. monticola it'll be B. lapidarius.. B. monticola has a limited distribution, usually on heath/moorland.
