Solitary Bee ID?

Can anyone help with this one?  It has a very distintive yellow underside to its abdomen.  I thought it would be easy to find, I guess I can't see for looking!  I need to get a better book.

I'll have a go. (Although I have not done very well today) Osmia rufa. The Red Mason Bee..... I think.

Yep, I'd go Osmia rufa on that too - note how faded and non-rufous she is. They are almost over now and will soon be replaced by Osmia coerulescens, the Blue Mason bee.

Right or wrong it's having a go that counts; we all make and learn from our mistakes and misidentifications, but it's the fabulous discussions that it all  promotes that we are looking to encourage.

Keep up the good work folks!
