What is this flower?

Seen today in a nature reserve, I can't find it in any of my books.

Any ideas?

    Hi

Your pretty little flower is Fairy Flax (Linum catharticum) also known as Purging Flax as it can have a more profound internal effect than its innocuous appearance suggests! It rarely appears in great quantity but is common as scattered small plants in nice open chalk grassland, or other open usually calcareous soils.
