What is this Plant please.

My parents have recently moved house.  In the conservatory there is a plant growing climbing the wall. (Please see attched photos).  Apparently, when in bloom it is highly scented. Please can you identify the plant and let me know whether it could be severely pruned back and moved to another location within  the conservatory STILL keeping it within the same container, thank you.

    It is Hoya carnosa.

Yes, you can prune it and move it.

The container may, if anything, be a bit big (once it is pruned). The leaves are succulent; it can tolerate a low watering regime, and may sulk if it is kept in too much soil, if it is damp and going sour.

The prunings can be treated as cuttings (but perhaps better as layers). Again: don't overwater them.

The plant will be happy in heat (or cool), but will look better if kept out of direct sunlight (which may scorch the leaves and make them pale).
