I was awoken this morning by a bug crawling on my face. I swept it off and turned over. A little while later something was crawling on my back. I put the light on and found this on the bed next to me.
Am I correct in saying this is a false widow, or am I mis-identifying it ? I set this one free later on in the day having trapped it until a reasonable hour.
Last year I stepped on another spider, at the time I also thought it may have been a false widow. This one unfortunately I had killed.
