Can anyone identify this biting insect?

I noticed this earlier on my arm, allowed it to crawl on to my finger so I could let it out the window and it bit me.
The bite has swollen up a little but my partner has woken up with a 2cm lump from a bite, Might be coincidence or the same culprit.
Anyone know what it is?
Thanks

Strange that this animal actually bit you. It is the larva stage of a lacewing or goldeneye, family Chrysopidae. The larvae and the adults feed on aphids and are very welcome helpers to keep these pests under control.

    Hope that helps
