Is this a fossil tooth??

Found on beach - approx. 30mm x 15mm dia., feels cold like stone, rough on top with cavity in base , would love for someone to identify what it is.- Al.

      I, also, don't think so.

       

      Having said that, I can't tell you what it is. I see some sort of concentric structure at one end, but not enough to lead me to an explanation. Lots of stone that look vaguely like something turn out to be unrelated to that. That happens a lot with flint nodules and concretions of other sorts.
