My next door neighbor found these and we were wondering what they were. After touching them my fingers were burning a little and had a bit of a headache hope that's not bad.
I think that may be man-made, from the general appearance and the polygonal surface pattern - but I really can't suggest what it might (or have been). OK, to be honest, 'armament' is in my mind as I write this, but I have little experience of decaying weapons and I don't want to scare you. Even if it is natural (the sperical radial structure occurs with some minerals), since you suspect it was these that gave you those symptoms, I strongly suggest you or your neighbour take them to your council, suggest it could be a public health and safety issue, and ask if they could analyse it and let you know (they should have access to labs).
If you do, please let us know what they say.
I suggest your neighbour keeps them in a sealed plastic bag for now and during transport.
Meanwhile, how/where/when did your neighbour find them?
He found them buried in his side yard a couple of inches from the surface. They were all together inbetween his home and A/C unit. He has had them since the begining of the year. But he said he has cut that area of grass and raked it for as long as he as lived there. They just seemed to have serfaced out of no where. All of the rocks were once solid and began to fall apart in time. When he gets back ill ask him to take them in.
thanks for helping Mike
