Hi everyone. I found these bones today when digging the bottom of my garden. They were under some crumbling concrete and may well be more of them but these are all I have for now. Any help appreciated, thank you!
There are various bones here from various species. Right at the bottom is the distal (elbow end) of a humerus probably sheep. The large flat bone on the left is part of a butchered cow rib and the small bone upper right is the first vertebra from a small mammal, the size of a rabbit. There is a another cow rib from a 'chop' and various other pieces that are difficult to identify with certainty. This is probably the site of an old kitchen dump, all the bones look like they are from butchered animals except the vertebra which would have probably been cooked complete.
