Found this spider in the conservatory yesterday and I'm just wondering if anyone could identify it for me? I've seen bigger ones in our shed, this is the smallest one so far.
Are there any experts here that could tell me if this is a false widow spider? I've googled a bit and I think it looks like the noble false widow spider, and if anyone here agrees with me, I'm calling a local pest control asap!
It's a difficult photo to go on but I'm inclined to say it's not a false widow, but more likely one of the Lace web/weaver spiders - an Amaurobius species. Have a loook at the pictures here:

Hi and thanks for your reply! I agree with you that it looks like the lace web spider, I feel much better now knowing it's probably not a false widow. I will however go to our shed just to get some more photos, I just want to feel a 100 % sure it's just a lace web spider as we have small children at home +pets. I'm really terrified of spiders!!
