Found this fairly large tree near Little Venice. Could it be a Plum Yew?
Many thanks for any help.
It is neither of the plum yews, Cephalotaxus and Prumnopitys.
It is dawn redwood, Metasequoia glyptostroboides
Note the opposite (and fairly neat) arrangement of the leaves; that is one of the things that distinguishes it from swamp cypress, Taxodium distichum (which also has a trunk that tapers sharply from a broad base) and coast redwood, Sequoia sempervirens. The cones are also different.
