      Hi Ivan,

images 220 and 216 are of Rosemary - Rosmarinus officinalis The flower colour varies enormously.

The other three pics - 943, 519 and 514 - of the fragrant plant, are less easy to id.

I can tell you that from the leaf arrangement they are in the same family as Rosemary - Lamiaceae - but without flowers it is difficult to give a definitive id. My best educated guess would be Winter Savoury - Satureja montana.

      Hope that helps somewhat...

          Hi Ivan,

I have to admit that I did think of Teucrium first, as the back two petals in them do not form a hood, but based on the info I could get from your pic Rosemary seemed possible too (and I don't know T. montanum and my book does not include it...) - so was being over confident and hasty however by declaring it so! Apologies...

I would agree with you on T. montanum, the character of the coloured veination of the upper back petals is very distinctive - and can be made out on some of the flowers in your pics - and the inrolled edges of the leaves also matches well. You may have seen this website already but some good pics for comparison, etc. here.

          Best wishes,
