Can anyone help with the identification of this spider, Spinning silk at time of capture, in among low growing alpine plants in garden.
Small approx 10mm long. body caught my attention as it was very dark and shiny.

Steatoda bipuncta (rabbit hutch spider), one of the false widow species, widespread & typically harmless.
Thanks for Identification, I wondered if it was Steatoda sp. but the habitat, among alpine plants in a rockery seemed less usual.
