Fossil hunting on Bouldnor Beach Isle of Wight

Found this fossil on Bouldnor Beach. It is about 22mm long and curves to a narrow edge on one side best seen in the first picture, both sides are smooth.  Any suggestions as to what it might be. We found turtle shell and crocodile skin plus some small fragments like this. Many thanks.

    Nice finds fossilhunter

We have collected in the same area and found some similar specimens to yours, (wish you could find them on the Holderness coast!)

I think it's part of a Turtle shell but I may be wrong, I will take some images of the specimens i have and post them if that's ok.

    Once again - Nice finds.
