I.D. Help Please -  Possible Locust?

Hi

I captured the image of the attached insect recently in Mallorca.  Although at the time I did not measure the total body length it must of been approx 75mm.

I have looked on the 'net but haven't found an image showing the distinctive colours on the rear legs.

Any help to identify it will be most appreciated.

Thanks

Stuart

I think this is the Egyptian Grasshopper (Anacridium aeguptium). I live in Madrid and I've photographed many grasshoppers with vivid colours that don't appear in my reference book on insects (Chinery) so I've assumed they are not significant. What my book says is significant is the striped eye, which is found in the insect I've suggested.
