My money's on Steatoda nobilis.
Beetleboy, any chance of pics of some of the others?
Hi MWJB, They're hard to get out from the trellis but I'll try and get a few shots if I can. I posted a question the other week about a false widow (Not too far down the list) with a couple of photos. I also caught this spider by our kitchen wall after it caught a rather big caterpillar, Can you tell what it is?
Hard to say from that angle...can't rule out a Steatoda though.
Most look good for S. nobilis apart from the 5th one down, she's a Zygiella species, most likely Z. x-notata, AKA missing sector orb weaver, look at the web closely & you'll see why...the two tone cephalothorax is the give away (abdominal markings are a little different too, but Z. x-notata is commonly mistaken for S. nobilis).
