Hi. I went fossil hunting again in West Yorkshire, UK last weekend.
I didn't find many, but the ones I did find were really good.
On the 1st of February 2014 I found what looks to be a trigonocarpus seed, but I'm not sure.
The 2nd of February 2014 was a slightly better day, but I only found 2 stems, although one of them was one of the best ones I found all year. I didn't find anything good for 40 minutes, but then I found two in five minutes. I found a lot of smaller pieces of wood, but I didn't keep them.
1/2: What I think is an Artisia stem (found in semi sandstone.)
3: looks like a damaged Artisia stem (found in semi sandstone.)
4: trigonocarpus seed? (I found this in clay, which makes it quite rare. I've never found a fossil seed before this in the Clay, although I've found loads in the sandstone.)
