Late Cretaceous Dinosaur Remains

What locations are there across the world that yield dinosaur remains from the late cretaceous period - around the time of the extinction event?  I am wondering if there are other areas of the world that compare to Hell Creek in Montana?

    Hi Nancy & Bea

    Good question!

I can only relate to were my family and I have gone Dinosaur hunting.

We live in the U.K. so most of our family holidays have been on the Isle of Wight in the English Channel.

The area is mainly cretaceous and many different dinosaurs are found there along with massive ammonites but nearer to home in Yorkshire there are trackways in the rock sea shore at Burniston near Scarborough.

Unfortunately I think there has only been three or four pieces of land dinosaurs found on the Yorkshire coast.

Without 'looking it up' I don't know were the KT mass extinction event is relivent to our area but I hope this helps you.
