Where do you find it? The location and the rock formation can make it more easy to ID it. I think it could be just a rock but I may be wrong.
After having a second look I think it could be a piece of banded flint. The inside looks like flint.
As Dan sugests it could be banded flint, it doe's look like rock that has wethered and fractured into the shape you have found.
Nice find - at first glance I thought you had found a stone age tool but I don't think it is one.
