please can any one identify these spiders I found

Hi I found two of the spiders in essex one at work and one in my hotel and the darker spider I found in my shed at home in burton upon trent can anyone tell me what these spiders are please

    Hi Rob2712,

     

    The spiders in the top 2 images are Steatoda nobilis, the noble false widow. Despite anything you may have read in the recent press frenzy on these spiders, they are really quite docile, certainly not dangerous, let alone deadly. They are well established in the South & South East.

     

    The spider in the 3rd photo is a rabbit hutch spider, Steatoda bipuncta. It is one of our false widow species, but is much more widespread than S. nobilis and generally considered harmless.

     

    I have both species living around & occasionally in my home, as do many in my region.
