Spider indentification please

This spider was living on my window sill for quite a while and I was wondering if someone could please help confirm its identity!?  Unfortunately only managed to capture it from this angle.

Many thanks in advance!

    Hi DHT,

It's a lace weaver (Amaurobius species), there are a few that may be found in homes (A. similis, A. fenestralis), but are more common on the exterior of houses. There is also the black lace weaver (A. ferox) but that seems a less likely candidate for the specimen in your photo.
