I am going to shanklin in the Isle of Wight next year and I know there is dinosaur fossils there, but I was just wondering, do I have a chance of finding an ice age fossil there since it is down south?
I would appriciate any answers on this one.
Never found anything from the ice age there but have done ok on the north of the island.
A quick story.
My lads and I were bass fishing at Horse Shoe point when we herd a wimpering noise nearly at the bottom of the cliff, it was a baby fox that had fallen from the top of the cliff.
Just as we found it a lady from the village came over to have a look and took it to the local animal rescue.
