What spider is this?
I feel it has to be the Woodlouse spider, Dysdera crocata - although I can't see the palps I would expect that it is a wandering male.
This species can give a good nip if roughly handled, as they have the fangs to pierce the carapaces of beetles and woodlice, but pain is not severe or long lasting.
Thank you! I won't be picking it up.
